I graduated from Art Center College in 1988 and worked for a few years as a freelance illustrator for various magazines. I also taught illustration for a time and wrote a couple of graphic novels for Fantagraphics Books.
In the summer of 1994, I did my first handpoke tattoo, graduating to electric machines later that year. I moved back to Los Angeles and got a job in a tattoo parlor, and have been working professionally since then. I work at Purple Panther Tattoos in Hollywood, and am very happy there. I work mostly by appointment, but am available for walk-ins as well. I do all styles of tattooing - custom work is no problem.
